How to Jailbreak Your iPhone on iOS 7

Not matter you are an iPhone or iPad fancier, or just an normal user, when get an iPhone or iPad, what you most want to do is jailbreak your device, expecially iOS 7 becomes widely used currently by lots of users since it being published. Why more and more people want to jailbreak their iDevices? Because this can lift restrictions on iOS, install community softwares and free softwares which outside of the Apple Store and without the consent of the Apple. You can even compile software and modified operating system by yourself. So, what can we need to do now?

How to Easily Jailbreak your iPhone on iOS 7.0- iOS 7.0.4


Part 1: Precautions and preparation

Attention: Considering to your data security, please backup your iPhone data with iPhone Data Transfer tool, iTunes or iCloud before jailbreak your device.

Now, we introduce some preparations first:

1, An iPhone (or other iOS devices) which has upgraded to iOS 7, a computer (Windows, Mac);
2, Backup your iPhone data;
3, Set the iPhone screen lock to “Never Lock”, and don't set the password to lock the screen;
4, Close the anti-virus software on your computer;
5, Connect your device(s) the computer vis an USB cable; If you are a desktop users, it is best to use the rear USB.
6, Download Evasi0n7 Jailbreak tool on your computer.


Part 2: Jailbreak your iPhone on iOS 7.0- iOS 7.0.4

Step 1: After download the program, install it on your computer, if done, launch the application. Now, please connect your iPhone to computer if you hadn’t previous.

Note: For Windows users, please launch the application as an Administrator. Right Click on the evasion.exe and select the “Run as Administrator” option.

Step 2: Please disable the passcode as the jailbreak may fail, if the passcode is enabled (Settings -> General -> Passcode Lock On -> Turn Passcode Off).

Step 3: After the passcode is disabled, connect your iPhone to the computer. evasi0n should detect your iPhone and also mention the iOS firmware that is running on it. Click on the “Jailbreak” button.



Step 4: After clicking on the Jailbreak button the tool will give a progress update on the various stages of the jailbreak process such as:

->Retrieving remote package
->Uploading jailbreak data
->Injecting evasion app (1/2)
->Injecting evasion app (2/2)
->Configuring system (1/2)
->Configuring system (2/2)
->Rebooting device

Please wait patiently during the jailbreaking process, do not start iTunes or Xcode in the meanwhile.

Step 5: As soon as your iPhone has successfully rebooted, you will get a message informing you to unlock your iPhone. Keep in mind that don’t close the evasi0n application.



Step 6: Unlock your iPhone and then tap on the evasi0n 7 app (the one with the evasi0n 7 icon).

Note: The screen will go white and your iPhone will reboot again when you launch the evasi0n app, this is the normal situation.

Step 7: To this step, the rest of the jailbreak process will now take place on your iPhone. After you iPhone reboots, you will see a large evasi0n logo with messages informing you on the status of the jailbreak process such as:

->Reading kernel
->Calculating offsets
->Setting up packages
->Setting up Cydia
->Continuing with boot

Step 8: If it has rebooted, congratulations, you succeeded. It has been successfully jailbroken and you should be able to find the Cydia icon on your iPhone’s home screen (it may not be on the first page so search for it to locate it).

Please note if the process gets stuck in the middle, it’s safe to restart the process, hardware reset your iPhone (if necessary by holding down Hold and Home until it shuts down), and rerun the process.

Note: If you had upgraded to iOS 7.x using the OTA option or using iTunes and are having problems jailbreaking your iOS device with evasi0n, then try doing a full restore using iPhone Data Transfer or iTunes and then try jailbreaking again to see if it works.
