Recover Data in Wizard Mode
Step1. Choose the Wizard Mode recovery
After running the software, you are automatically guided to the Wizard Mode. Now you just need to answer two simple questions by clicking on "Next", then Data Recovery Master will do the rest for you.
Step2. Select the file type you want to recover
For the first question, there are many types of file in front of you, including graphic, audio, video, document and email. Here you can check the one that you want or "All files" to going to recover.
Step3. Tell where you lost your files
Next question is where you lost your files, there are six options you can choose here, such as the external removable devices, Recycle Bin, partitions or Desktop and My Documents. You can also search the specified location if you know exactly folder, or choose “I can’t remember” to search your whole computer.
Step4. Begin to search your lost files
Now you are allowed to click "Start" and begin to search your lost data. If you want to recover the formatted files, you can pitch on "Enable Deep Scan", while you want to get back the files lost long time ago due to various reasons, pitch on "Enable Raw File Recovery". Neither of them, just click "Start" to restore the files you deleted recently.
Step5. Preview and recover your lost files
The scanning result such as archive, audio, database, document, email, graphic, video and so on would be displayed in file types if you chose "All files" in the previous step. You can preview them and recover selectively.
In addition, you can switch "File type" to "Path" check the previous files path.
Attention: Do not save files to the location where you lost your files. If you don't recover the files you are looking for, they will be overwritten by your new file saving.
Tips: You can "Pause" to recover the files you want first if they have been scanned out during the scanning process. Then "Continue" or "Stop" your scan. Besides, you can filter your lost files in the scanning result by search the filename or path. When stopping the scanning, you can save your scanning result, and import to recover data later without rescanning.
